Each shape in the row contains a certain number of right angles within its
outline. The first shape contains one right angle. The second shape - two
right angles, the third - three and the last one - five of them. Obviously,
the shape which is missing in this sequence is the one containing four right
angles. This can be either a rectangle or a square. But since all four
shapes can inscribed into the square frame the missing shape is square -
just as shown in the illustration.
