Nazaré Uniluz Meditative Labyrinth
Nazaré Uniluz is a center of continuous learning that happens through studies, practical and subtle activities, tacitly diversified and oriented to self-knowledge, in a context of freedom, uniqueness and interest in the common good.
The official genesis of Nazaré Uniluz took place in the second half of 1981. José Trigueirinho Netto, spiritualist philosopher, speaker and author, began to gather people around the idea of carrying out, the following year, a spiritual and silent retreat, with deep studies and meditation practice, for six months, in the city of Belo Horizonte. When the initial group of interested people – coming from different cities in Brazil – was finally gathered, many strategic changes had already taken place and, on March 7, 1982, the group met in Nazaré Paulista, SP.
An integral of the center is a meditative labyrinth.
Inspired by the famous Chartres Labyrinth in France, this meditative labyrinth is surrounded by gardens and the Atlantic forest, an invitation to active meditation, relaxation and moments of outdoor celebration. Hence the purpose.
Its construction was an initiative of the class of apprentices in the Post-Graduate course in Transpersonal Psychology, with the collaboration of volunteers, participants and residents.
The central flower-mosaic rounded plate is a distinctive feat of this labyrinth.
